Summer Reading Review, part 1: Best and Worst

First, a confession. We had such a marvelous time with family and friends on vacation that I read far fewer books this year than I did last year. But I must say that Harry Potter Wizarding World was a blast :)

Over the next week or two, I will share my grades for the books I have read thus far this summer. Thank you again for sharing your wisdom and recommendations. Very helpful.

 

Best Book of the Summer So Far

The Last Great Game: Duke vs. Kentucky and the 2.1 seconds that Changed Basketball by Gene Wojciechowski

I know. I know. A basketball book. I acknowledge that. But I love college basketball and ACC hoops in particular. Wojciechowski does a great job ot telling the tale of that game and all the recruiting, practice, relationships, and team dynamics that led to that point.
