To all the Primadonnas I met at the festival on Saturday 27 July 2024, it was such a privilege spending the day with you.
Big big thank yous to Alice Hardaker, Bea Colley and many more people for the year-round organisation to make the whole weekend brilliant.
I’m extremely lucky to have shared a stage with Sabeena Akhtar, Sunny Singh, and Aki Schilz, inspiring and advocating for creative communities. Power to your pens.
Shoutouts to the sound & lighting crew – I’ve never been to a gig where the tech worked so well; and to the Waterstones Shed for running a smooth book-signing operation.
And I’m most grateful of all to Emma Shercliff, Laxfield Literary Associates, who interviewed me: Thank you for being the best interviewer I could have asked for. Your questions were so perceptive, you gave me confidence to speak up, and I would have been happy to keep the conversation going for longer.
