Wilf Peddle, known in Glastonbury as the ‘Egg Man’ was a local legend. Since his recent passing, many tributes from those who knew him have revealed that he was much loved and respected in the town and beyond. Wilf belonged to a simpler, kinder age, he was less than 20 years my senior, yet he reminded me of my grandparents’ generation, born in the early 1900’s.
