How to Be a Good Villain by Jamie Dalton

Lillith Shadowend is the most powerful villain in three kingdoms, but corrupting the insufferably pure-hearted Prince Asher is a tall order, even for her.

Disguised as a castle maid, Lillith attempts every devilish scheme and seductive trick to unravel Asher’s shining reputation, yet the pampered prince manages to evade her efforts with infuriating optimism.

Worse still, the more time Lillith spends scrubbing the manor floors, the more she finds herself falling for Asher’s spirit, empathy, and hidden quirks beneath the princely facade.

With her icy heart melting fast, Lillith must decide whether to abandon her wicked ways for a chance at an epic, star-crossed love or to deliver Asher to darkness. Because even the noblest heroes hide secrets that could ruin everything.

This is book 2 in a series of stand alone fantasy rom-coms that are only connected to each other in the epilogue. The female main character is a bit feral and immature from how she is raised and this is not a dark book at all. While it does still have action and big moments, it is meant to be a light hearted rom-com.
This is also a sweet open door edition of the book. If you desire a fade to black version it is available as physical copies.
