It's Fine Even If It's Just a Dream by Ayu Yamane

 

Kiyosaki transfers to a branch office in the countryside. Unlike his lively days in headquarters, there’s few things to do in his new office. He’s forced to spend depressed days with a memory that he can’t get over. The first day at the new office, his coworker brings him to a restaurant popular with local residents for lunch. At the restaurant, he meets Sou.

 

Sou has been working for the restaurant as a cook. Although he’s an excellent chef, he’s very quiet and barely talks with customers. When he’s asked about the daily special by Kiyosaki, he can only manage to point to the menu.

 

One night, Sou sees an unsteady drunk on the street and rescues him from getting hit by a car. That man is Kiyosaki. Words come out of Kiyosaki’s mouth, “I wish I could die…”

 

When their completely different lives cross, their fate slowly begin to change…
