Open To Working With You – Editing & Formatting Services

I have decided to open Besser Books & Services, LLC to freelance editing and formatting jobs.

I have over a decade of editing and manuscript formatting experience. I would love to help writers/authors get their work ready for submission and publishing. I’ve worked with Indie publishers, have self-published, and have prepared manuscripts to be submitted to literary agents.

My fees and offerings are as follows (for fiction/nonfiction/children’s):

Editing

Full Length Manuscripts

$100 = Editing and marking (with comments) the first 50 pages of a manuscript.

$200 = Editing and fixing (in Word to accept changes) the first 70 pages of a manuscript.

*Full manuscript editing is possible, with fees assessed by the size and beginning state of the work.

Short Stories

$150 = Short story up to 4K.

$200 = Short story up to 7K

*Longer stories or collections are possible, with fees assessed by the size and beginning state of the work.

Formatting

$50 = Standard manuscript formatting.

$100 = Kindle ebook formatting (no images or graphics).

$250 = Paperback formatting.
