Don't blink . . .

. . . or your life might reach its end before you see it coming.

This is what I tried to do, and after experiencing despair and pain and struggle on many personal levels, I do my best to help readers fall in love with the characters in my novels.

I also writes about hope, often by revealing characters who celebrate life, who love their friends and their families, and are willing to take great risks to protect those people they love.

Sure, there's also sex & drugs & rock 'n roll in my stories. Well, not really. So okay, maybe a little. But these are some of the things my characters are forced to deal with in order to stop the bad guys an' gals before they stop others from living.

So I write from the heart but also from what I know, having experienced much of what goes into my stories. I go for the real thing and I keep it genuine. Oh, I also toss in humor, since a person who can't laugh, can't enjoy reading about those who do. Just sayin' . . .
