Getting a tattoo can hurt, but the level of pain varies from person to person. Because getting a tattoo involves being stuck multiple times with a needle, it can feel like getting a bunch of shots or being stung by a hornet multiple times. I've seen people scream bloody murder and others act like it's nothing big.
Just fyi, I'd be the one screaming bloody murder like I was being axed murdered, lol. I
hate needles. But I sure love to admire them on other peoples bodies! I think there's nothing sexier.
Some people describe the tattoo sensation as "tingling." It really depends on your pain threshold, how good the person wielding the tattoo machine is, and where exactly on your body you're getting the tattoo.
Keep in mind that you'll probably bleed a little and there are risks. Sometimes bumps called granulomas form around tattoo ink. Tattooing can also lead to keloids — raised areas caused by an overgrowth of scar tissue.
See ya tomorrow for Wednesday Briefs!
