The first in the series “Cooking and Politics” and I am very excited to reach international readers!
This is not a cookbook as many think: the book is about diversity and exclusion/inclusion on the territories of ex-USSR.
”Russian Colonial Food” is a collection of fifteen historical fiction stories, based on well-researched astonishing facts about the colonies of Soviet Russia. Some territories come as a surprise; other places may be better known. The receipts were included to show the diversity of the Communist Empire and to help preserve the national cuisine as a part of the culture.
The book was created for Young adults and Adults.
