Spring, Summer, and Kites

One of the things I will never grow out of is the joy of flying a kite. Rather you buy one or make one from sticks and paper at home. It is really hard to explain how a simple act can make one smile so much. And it is a great thing to get the whole family outside on a beautiful day. Make a picnic out of it. Pack yourself a cooler, bring some blankets, and stuff to eat on of course. Pack a couple of kites get in the car and go to a nice meadow or hillside on a fairly decent day with mild breeze. Relax and enjoy the sunshine and fresh air. Perfect time of year to do it. With summer only a month and a week away.
