Creative Confluence Call to #Writers, #Artists, and #Storytellers – We Need YOU!

Writers, Poets, Flash Fictionaires, Aspiring Artists, Storytellers, do you enjoy prompt-driven writing? Are you looking for a network where you can expand your social reach and engage with like-minded creatives? Do you enjoy collaborating?  If so, Creative Confluence needs YOU!

Because I love writing and art and have a particular fondness for Flash Fiction, I’ve created a group where the two meet. I also love collaborating with others, and from these three elements, Creative Confluence was born. This group is for artists with a knack for storytelling and storytellers who want to flex their artistic muscles. Together, we create Flash Fiction stories illustrated by the artwork we create in a collaborative creative confluence of inspiration and imagination.

Our mission is to create a comfortable setting for synthographers, traditional artists, and writers to discuss, generate, collaborate, and share in a supportive, inspiring environment. We encourage a productive and communal spirit. Any unproductive conversations do not align with our mission. Those generating hate, intolerance, or bullying will be evicted from the group.

Our Purpose

This group was created to inspire artists and storytellers to collaborate, share inspiration, and learn from each other. Enthusiasts, professionals, and those who are brand new to DeviantArt are welcome and appreciated. We support ALL forms of art, not just AI, and strive to bridge the abyss between creative spirits. In this effort, we link to many different groups, host challenges, and highlight activities from the other groups so you can participate in community activities.

Where Can You Find Us?

On DeviantArt, a safe and closely monitored community of creative spirits. Stop by, have a look around, and spark a story or two!

How Does it Work?

It’s quite a simple setup. Artists post images in genre-defined galleries. These images can be used to create flash fiction, microfiction, or even poetry! Simply write your section of the story into comments, make them Bold and Italic so they can be found, and they can be added onto.

If you’re interested, stop by the group. Yes, you’ll need to create a DeviantArt account, but one can be created for free.  The community is very supportive and has grown my social media reach by thousands.  I hope you’ll pop in and say hi, and look forward to collaborating with you soon 😀
