Biafra Heroes Remembrance Day: The Imperative of Remembering

It’s May 30 again and I customarily join Biafrans worldwide to observe the Biafra Heroes Remembrance Day in honour of the fallen. The scars of the Biafran genocide continue to haunt us, a stark reminder of the horrors that unfolded from 1967 to 1970. The passage of time has not dulled the anguish, nor has it erased the memories of unspeakable suffering.
