Why is human being essentially mass-dependent and constantly lives in inauthenticity?

 

If you pay attention to this Heidegger's sentence from "Sein und Zeit" Das Dasein kann, zumal da es wesenhaft Mitsein mit Anderen ist, eine Erfahrung vom Tode gewinnen (Dasein can acquire an experience of death, especially because it is essentially being-with-others) you realize that this explains not only how Dasein, human being, acts in view of death but also in view of relating itself to the mass and persistently discloses itself according to one of the constituents of his essence: wesenhaft Mitsein mit Anderen. For this reason, those who live wesenhaft Mitsein mit Anderen, experience doing in relation to others, experience their being by virtue of others, and live fully immersed in Das Gerede, the chatter, that therefore dominates the Mitsein which is utterly prevented from distinguishing itself from the chatter.By doing so, Dasein experiences through others, conforms to others and seamlessly obnubilates the Spirit that lives in Dasein from the very beginning.
