Review: LOVELY OBLIVION: MAGGIE by A.D. Craig

Maggie, the shyone of the band, Lovely Oblivion, was nervous about getting her first tattoo.Fortunately, the tattoo artist, Wylder, made her feel nice and calm. What wouldit be like to have him in her life? Well, that thought was quickly dashed whenshe found out that he was already taken. Crud. Turns out, however, that thegirl he was with was crazy. Boy, was she crazy!

Three yearslater, the two stumble upon each other at a wedding and the electricity wasstill there. Soon, they fall into an easy friendship. The narrative was nice, but, as you can see, it takes a really long time to tell the story. Abouthalfway through it is when he makes the request for a fake celebritygirlfriend. I don’t know why that request couldn’t have come sooner. Storypresents a good dilemma and the characters had good comradery, but the wholething was much too lagging for me.

A fairly niceread but not as exciting as the other books in the series. It was just “eh.”
