Did you know that when the bacteria Staphylococcus Aureus comes into contact with our skin it release a chemical that activates a protein in our nerves. Our skin then sends a signal to our brains, which it then perceives as an itch!

Before everyone jumps on me, bacteria are not responsible for all itches, they can be triggered by a whole host of things that come into contact with the skin. Though this particular one is quite interesting don’t you think?

So come on then! Let’s here your thoughts, bad jokes, whatever you’ve got…… I get the funniest feeling that I’ve probably only just scratched the surface πŸ˜’
