Argh

Apparently, I have somehow added one of my books to my 'read' shelf. I didn't even know I had a 'read' shelf. Does anyone know how to get it off? It looks like I'm crowing about reading my own book!

Kaje Harper You can remove it by clicking the x all the way to the right on the "my books" listing, but i decided to put all my own books on my list as "read". (Just no rating/review) That way when I compare books with people my own stuff shows up on the list - I find that helpful if someone is friending me. I don't think it's boasting (you have read the damned things :)

Carole Cummings Ha! Very good point. I never know how seemingly inconsequential things will look to other people, so I tend to err on the side of just-minding-my-own-business-nothing-to-see-here. But yeah, that's a smart move and a good point. Maybe I'll add the others. If I can figure out how I accidentally added this one. ;)

Thanks, Kaje!

P.D. If you go into Edit Review, at the very bottom, so faintly that you have to squint, there is an option to "remove review." That clears it off your shelves.

Kaje has a good point about the friending, and if you hadn't actually reviewed it, there is nothing to see here.

Thank you, love! And yeah, you've both got a point there. I might do that still. *hugs*
