‘Once upon a beach’ launch!
The rush, wash and splash of the waves, the briny breeze, and the freedom to wander, barefoot, under a vast expanse of sky …
Two sets of footprints? Or just one …
Beaches invite romance, and you are warmly invited to a free, beachy Central Coast double launch, in association with the Words on the Waves Writers Festival! So honoured to have been included in this literary event!
For the official launch of my Midnight Beach, along with the launch of Boomerang Beach by Ella Mclaughlin, please join us at Kincumber Library on the NSW Central Coast at 6pm on Friday 7 June, for a 6.30pm start.

I’m thrilled to announce that Ella and I will be interviewed by Central Coast media personality Terry Collins who has been working as a journalist on the Central Coast for more than 40 years.
She and I worked together at the old Central Coast Express, and Terry now writes for and edits Coast Community News.
Terry is also a well known actor and director, and is working on her own mystery novel.
We’ll have fun diving deep into the dramas of storytelling!
This is a free event, and there will be an absolutely beautiful, hand-made and totally appropriate lucky door prize for one lucky attendee.
Of course for those of you who might already have bought Midnight Beach, thank you! Bring along your copy to the party and I’ll be delighted to sign it for you.
Please scroll down on this link to book for this free event.

Enormous thanks to those of you who take the time to open my blogs and read them. I appreciated your responses to the recent survey, and some of you follow me on Instagram and Facebook, where I celebrate our beautiful world with simple snaps of flowers and sunsets and occasionally share details about the creative life.
Having recently lost a cherished friend, I know that relationships are precious, be they in person, on paper, telephone, online or a mix of all of these. Thank goodness for the technology that links us. May all your relationships enrich your life.
A colorful and creative lifeWith Sunset Beach yet to flourish past first draft, I took myself to the Sydney Flower Markets to celebrate and nurture the creative life – an idea from a classic for writers and artists, The Artist’s Way, by Julia Cameron, who asserts we should all have creative dates with ourselves!
Big thanks to author and artist Jordan Harcourt-Hughes for recommending this book to me.
