Last two days of April
Hello, Write Edge readers. It’s hard to believe, but this week brings us the last two days of April. Time truly does fly when you’re absorbed in other things.
It’s the last Monday of the month, which means I take a break from posting my own writing to share with you some of the writing I’ve enjoyed by others from across the web. Check out those works now on The Write Edge Writing Workshop.
On Friday I shared in my #bookreviewpreview that I’m currently reading Real Americans by Rachel Khong. Want to know what I thought of the book? Find out on Wednesday on The Write Edge Bookshelf.
This week is the start of a new month and the return of another feature that I’ve enjoyed in years past: Thursday R.E.A.D.S. In this quarterly deep-dive, I share my thoughts on a book that I read and enjoyed outside of my weekly reviews. On Thursday I’ll share the first installment, as a Reviewer, of what I thought of Lunar New Year Love Story by the dynamic graphic novel writer-illustrator team of Gene Luen Yang and LeUyen Pham. I took a break from this closer look at books last year, but I’m so glad to be bringing it back in 2024. Look for it toward the later part of the week.
And, of course, it’s back to Instagram on Friday for bits and pieces of my writing and non-writing lives. If you’ve missed previous posts, find them now on the app with my handle, @EktaRGarg, or on my Facebook author page.
Have a great week, readers, and remember to tell a loved one you care for them this week. Life is too short not to.
E.R.G.
