AI Book Writing & Willful Amazon Copyright Neglect

Publishing reporter Jane Friedman recently encountered an incident of her own regarding both Amazon and GoodReads along with a series of books clearly pretending to be her with her name attached to a series of AI-generated books. While we might have some differences of opinion, I think we all agree upon one thing: Amazon’s handling of impersonators, copyrights, and theft is negligent.
