Of the more than 9,500 craft breweries in the United States, Victory Brewing Company in Downingtown ranks as one of the largest.

The Brewers Association, a trade group representing America’s small and independent breweries, published its annual review of the U.S. craft beer industry’s output, “Don Tse,” in Forbes magazine. The Brewers Association also ranks the nation’s largest craft breweries.

In 2023, there were 9,683 breweries and 191,421 employees, a record high. Bart Watson, Chief Economist at the Brewers Association, said: “These numbers show that while craft beer is not experiencing the phenomenal growth it was five or six years ago, the industry is still on track. I think it shows that.”

Victory Brewing Company’s parent company, Artisanal Brewing Ventures, was ranked as one of the 50 largest craft breweries in the United States.

Victory Brewing Company was founded in 1996 in Downingtown. As one of the original top brands in craft beer brewing, Victory is widely known for its suburban beers such as Golden Monkey Belgian Style Tripel, Sour Monkey Sour Tripel, Dirtwolf DIPA and Prima Pils German Style Pilsner.

Victory has remained at the top of the craft beer world by leveraging its creativity and innovation to create interesting, high-quality beers that everyone can enjoy. As Victory Brewing looks to the next quarter-century of business, it intends to “move forward” to keep its customers happy.
