Given all this noise over the Swiss vote banning Islamic minarets, you would think Switzerland is bursting at its snowy seams with mosques teaming with menacing Muslims.

But how many of us know that there are only four minarets in Switzerland — for a population of 400,000 Muslims? That is, one mosque for every hundred...
