Open Anthologies

Today I’m sharing a couple of anthologies that are open or will be later this year. Wolfsinger Publications is a micro press, not a big payment but pleasant to work with. All anthologies have a word limit of 1,000 to 7,500. You can read their full details here.

Cowboy Up is open now until July 31st, for stories set in the world of rodeo. It will benefit a medical fund for injured rodeo riders.

Midnight Menagerie opens June 1st until October 31st. Stories should be set in a circus or carnival.

Spirit of the Wolf opens November 1st until March 31, 2025. They are seeking wolf tales beyond “wolf is evil” and proceeds will benefit wolf conservation.

Wolfsinger’s fiction magazine, Lorelei Signal, is also open for general sf/fantasy submissions until May 15, 2024.
