Apparently, we cannot post links on GR. If you understand Swedish, there is a front page story on SVT.SE online about Iranian resistance calling for Israeli intervention on X (Twitter) to help topple the Mullahs under the headline, “Efter Attacken Iranier Hånar Regimen På Sociala Medier.”

Well, I took notice of your piece only today. My guess is that after the (ongoing) genocide in Gaza, Israel should be very careful; even [if] fomenting popular revolutions in Iran. The Middle East could "explode" (Israel could "vanish" as the Iranian leaders say...and, maybe, wish).Israel should be mild ("refrain" as the International Court of Justice ruled), for now. That's really hard for a lion to be. I know. The leadership in Israel also, seems having a lot of trouble. Israel's people not very satisfied with their government. There are some in Israel who want, for sure, to topple Bibi.
I beg to differ with your use of the word genocide, Amigo. Self defense is not genocide. After the October 7 massacre of men, women and children by Hamas, Israel’s only choice to defend its people is to destroy Hamas to its very last terrorist or else it will have to go through a similar atrocity every five or ten years as its has since 1948.
The Palestinians have no one else to blame for their suffering than the Hamas leadership and this chapter will not be closed until Yahya Sinwar and the last surviving member of the last Hamas division in Rafah that is hiding in hospitals behind patients and hostages is destroyed.
As for the mild Israeli response to the Iranian attack, it would seem that the puppeteer, Barack Hussein Obama, had Joe Biden do his bidding and reign in the Israelis.
That's ok to differ. For many years I had been an admirer of Israel. Not now, especially after October the 7th. Let's see the numbers:"As of 24 April 2024, over 35,000 people ( 34,262 Palestinian and 1,410 Israeli) have been reported as killed in the Israel–Hamas war, including 97 journalists (92 Palestinian, 2 Israeli and 3 Lebanese) and over 224 humanitarian aid workers, including 179 employees of UNRWA."
In: Casualties of the Israel–Hamas war, Wikipedia
That's not self defense. I've been following Norman Finkelstein views for the past few months. He's right. And he's an American. "Genocide" is the proper word. Genocide of women and children, in the majority. For some time the Biden's administration and some European governments have been just accomplices of the tragedy. Sad.
For 20 years Palestinians have been locked into this concentration camp called Gaza. Who has locked them up?
What choice does Israel have when the Hamas terrorists hide behind those thousands of innocent victims?BTW….a cynical reader might point out that you did not source those numbers.
BTW…BTW…. even the NYT reported on Jan. 28 that UNRA workers AIDED the October 7, attack!
I didn't cook the numbers; you may find them in several sites, namely on aljazeera. com : 2024/4/23/by-the-numbers-200-days-of-israels-war-on-gaza.True, a small percentage of people of UNRWA are to blame.
Those numbers on aljazeera must be impeccable…impeccably unbiased and impeccably accurate, to say the least. LMAO.
MY guess, is that numbers are far worse than AlJazeera's. Some day we'll know more and better about the Israeli-perpetrated Holocaust. I will keep you posted.Recommendation: watch on YouTube:
-Holocaust survivor Rene Lichtman “Israel is committing war crimes in Gaza. We've got to fight back.”
and
-Holocaust survivor says Israel is committing Holocaust in Gaza.
-How Israelis Live So Easily With Occupation - Gideon Levy [a good piece on "Israeli Psychology"]
Moreover, there are nations now ready to recognize a Palestinian state: Ireland, Spain, Norway, ...to name a few.
This is the best I could find on YouTube: The truth about October 7: Director Richard Sanders discusses his Al Jazeera film with Peter Oborne. It's an interesting conversation to watch, for those who really want to know what happened. Key issues:
-the "babies" and the raped women; who's telling the truth; the actual numbers
-the "Israeli narrative"
-Sanders view: a massive underestimate of the dead ones; they can't count the dead anymore (people under the rubble...)
-Israelis use Palestinian civilians as human shields
-the Israeli Army killed people on the 7th of October. The Hannibal doctrine variation issued on the 7th October
-May Golan a "proud racist"; proud of the "ruins of Gaza"
-the Western media absolutely ignored Sanders's film.
Plus, my view: things didn't really start on the 7th October.
