Iberdrola wants to enter data centers

Iberdrola plans to launch a partner search process on the market in the coming days for the development of a global portfolio of data centers, at a time when artificial intelligence and cloud computing are driving the demand for electricity, according to Bloomberg and has been able to confirm EXPANSION in market sources.

The electricity company chaired by Ignacio Sánchez Galán is already working with financial advisors on the transaction, which consists of the creation of a joint venture with a partner, whether with a strategic or financial profile, for the start-up.
