Life is better than good
I’m just finishing up my Ritz Crackers with dip and lemon cookies. I’m ready for Miracle Man to come and put my planter stand together, move the fan to the right side of the table, and mount the pole lamp to the wall.
I’m visualizing all the changes in my mind, and they look marvelous. I can’t wait to see the actual placement of the stand, plants, light pole lamp, fan, and the two new planters for my tomato plants. My room is comparable to my efficiency apartment in college by size. However, my current space is better in terms of convenience, comfort, sight, sounds, and smell. When I asked why the apartment was so cheap, one look out of the back window told me. It was a graveyard with burial markers ten yards away, it seemed. Now, my window views the Crimson Tide tree rose bush that has followed me for the last six years. I also had my sister dig a hole for my hydrangea bush. I’ll possibly add some hollyhocks.
Better keep yourself clean and bright; you are the window through which you must see the world. George Bernard Shaw. I want to do with you what spring does with cherry trees. Pablo Neruda. You cannot do a kindness too soon, for you never know how soon it will be too late. Ralph Waldo Emerson. Simplysaidbysimon life is good.
