I have a couple of stories newly available in anthologies, and one that came out in December but I missed.
Scars Publications have published two of my real life horror stories in Down in the Dirt and CC&D magazines. Both are available on Amazon – the editions being The Unbridgeable Canyon and Idle Hands respectively. Both should be on my Amazon Author page Tim Newton Anderson shortly, along with all the other anthologies I am included in.
I don’t tend to write horror stories based on ghosties or ghoulies but on the real horros of everyday life – in these cases Dementia and childhood trauma and loss. Even when there are supernatural things happening I normally have the protagonist suffering from some real life issue which the uncanny emphasises.
The story which I missed posting about is in https://eternalhauntedsummer.com/2023/12/20/winter-solstice-2023/ . Sebastian Smirch’s Own Double Entry was inspired by a suggestion by the wonderful Man Called G during lockdown when I asked for character name, genre and location to kick start a story. This one has the eponymous Smirch working as an auditor on Skye when he encounters the island’s fair folk.
