Behind the Scenes...

Hello, everyone! I hope everyone is having a great day. I've been knee-deep in writing along with my myriad other jobs. While I'm doing all of that, I've been plotting my next book in my mind. The idea for this one has been marinating since last fall, but nothing is out on paper yet. The characters on the page sometimes spend a lot of time being gone over before they come out, a bit like stones in a tumbler.

The particular stone that I am polishing right now is a bit of a secret, but I'd love to hear your thoughts. What kind of side hobby do you like to see the most in a character? What do you dislike? Why or why not?
