It’s kinda sad
I know I will do differently, but right now, I am kind of happy someone did not come straight over after their appointment, as was initially indicated and later amended. I don’t do well as a second fiddle, especially when I don’t want any visitors anyway. I’m quite comfortable with just my wife, my daughter, and me a few times a year.
I really didn’t want to give away the banana nut bread I had planned to give. It was convenient for me to say no,, don’t come, continue on with whatever. I’ll now have enough banana nut bread to last me until my wife brings more on Sunday. It’s working out just fine.
Now that I have finished my confessions, I have an appetite for more goodies. Being disabled doesn’t make us needy. We can do just fine without people who don’t make us a priority. You won’t be coming to see me after you have nothing else to do if I know about it. I thought I was done with my ‘fessing up.
It has been a good week, and other than fifty-five forgettable minutes, it’s been an outstanding week. My Miracle Man did more good deeds, and a Mobile Dentist came and cleaned my teeth and patched one tooth. I have been blessed to assist a couple more folks on this journey. It’s a good life.
