“If a black cat crosses your path, it signifies that the animal is going somewhere.”

― Groucho Marx October 2, 1890 – August 19, 1977 was an American comedian, actor, writer, and singer

The older I get, the less I believe in such things. The world continues turning on the path that was mapped out for it, at its conception. From the dawn of time, there have been things that the human mind can’t comprehend, so while searching for some explanations, humans have created their own theory, or idea of why certain things happen to them. This is what is known as superstition. Anything beyond human understanding is supernatural.

The meaning of the word explains a lot. Middle English supersticion, from Anglo-French, from Latin superstition-, superstitio, from superstit-, superstes standing over (as witness or survivor), from super- + stare to stand — more to stand and stare.

Even in these modern times, there are many questions we don’t know the answers, too. Whether it is clear to us or not, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.

So stop worrying, just be happy and enjoy your life.
