Monster Bites!
My new short story collection, Monster Bites, is available now in ebook and paperback!

This collection of four stories is set in the same world as my Monsters in the Midwest books. Three of the stories had been published previously. Two were in different anthologies, and one had been published as a standalone. After writing a new story, I decided to pull the four of them together into one book.
It was a lot of fun going back to Trappersville, Wisconsin. In this collection, you’ll get to meet Lois as a little girl when she goes to visit her aunt Helga. You’ll get to learn a bit more about Slow Johnson, the owner of the town’s bowling alley, and the unfortunate curse his family has endured for generations. There’s a fun tale about a whole bunch of monsters that gather every year to celebrate the winter solstice. The final story heads back to Weasel’s Bar. That’s where Herb Knudsen went on his first hunt in “Wisconsin Vamp.” This visit, though, there’s a different sort of monster hanging around the town’s dive bar.
Altogether, it’s about 94 pages in print. It’s the perfect length for a little snack when you’ve got the horror comedy munchies!
Monster Bites is available in ebook and paperback. If you have Kindle unlimited, you can read it in the library for free.
And if you do give it a read, ratings and reviews are always appreciated.
I hope you have fun spending a little more time in Trappersville! Tell the folks there I says hi.
