Some thoughts
As soon as I posted the free link on Amazon, I downloaded the book to my Kindle and started reading. Here are a few extracts:
“Your worth is not tied to your wealth, your weight, your work or your worries….Your worth is so much more than a number on the label in the back of your jeans or the digits printed on your payslip…Every day this week I want you to write ‘I am worthy’ and believe it.”
“How can you put a little more love into the world every day? Write ‘choose love’ on a post-it note and stick it somewhere you will see it every morning.”
I did just that and stuck it on the front page of my diary. I may put another one somewhere else as well, more visible.
Every week there is a task you need to perform – a ‘weekly journal prompt’ such as:
“Acceptance leads to growth or peace and you get to decide which. What causes you most consternation in your life? Can you accept it or will you try to change it?”
“Think about a time you failed. Write down the positive lessons you learned from failing and how that helped you moving forward.”
“Open your journal. Write ‘I’m going to just BE.’ Close your journal, close your eyes and spend ten minutes just being. Enjoy the stillness.”
Let this book be your guide for the year ahead. It’s full of great advice.
