Smoke and Rain and Passing Days

On July 2, 2012, I began my WordPress account. Eleven years, the longest I’ve maintained a blog.

When I began this page, it was with a desire to take notes about the changing seasons around me. Observances of the abundance of nature and my deep, emotional root to it all. I wanted to be able to remember moments where I felt most alive. I also was hoping to learn to write about the world around me in a poetic nature, so I could expand beyond the fiction writing I have always primarily done.
