Those responsible at Reddit around CEO Steve Huffman see it differently. On Thursday they filed an application for an IPO with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Shares could be traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol RDDT as early as March. The company is seeking a valuation of at least $5 billion, as The New York Times reports with reference to insiders, but the amount could change in the coming weeks.
