Ratstrike by Jools G. King

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Creepy.

Creepy is the best word that I can use to describe these terrifying vermin that will stop at no end to conquer the Earth. At least, that is what Jools G. King portrays in his dystopian novel Ratstrike.

I issued this book a five-star rating, not because I thought the book was amazing, but because Jools G. King did his part in creating a frightening narrative.

Pros:
1.) The true horror fan will appreciate Ratstrike’s yuck moments.
2.) There are a good amount of twists.
3.) The chapters are short.
4.) Good cliffhangers.
5.) Highly imaginative.
6.) Vivid descriptions.
7.) The macabre elements are powerful, and Jools G. King has an excellent grasp of the English language.
8.) My reading engagement increased with introducing Felix.
9.) I like how the author explained the meaning behind the title Ratstrike in the prose.

Cons:
1.) This is highly subjective, but I can tell the author worked hard on this book.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
