A Little Red Wine

Alittle red wine can sure make a difference

Injust how you look at the world.

Itputs on a veil of rose colored glasses

Sosweet, as your head starts to swirl.

Itwon’t change your life

Orheal all your troubles,

Butthe feeling can be so divine.

So,open the bottle, sit down beside me,

Andlet’s share a little red wine.

Theweight of the world is there on your shoulders,

Assure as the night turns to day.

Youcould use someone to share all your demons,

Andhelp you to chase them away.

I’llsee you through without even asking,

Youdon’t need to give me a sign.

We’llface it together, if it takes all night

Withthe help of a little red wine.

Tracesof life, traces of anger,

Imageslost and forgot.

Dreamsthat came true and dreams that were shattered,

Lessonsunlearned and untaught.

Lovedones we’ve known, or wished we knew better,

Friendsthat were left far behind.

We’llshare it all and make it seem better

Withthe help of a little red wine.
