Beyond the Page: Reading Like a Writer

Like many aspiring writers, when I started taking my writing seriously, I sought advice from many sources such as ‘How to’ Writing Books, Writing blogs, and journals. Also, I enrolled in a few creative writing courses and, in my 40s, went on to gain a PhD. A plethora of writing advice is available, but some should be taken with varying degrees of salt.
