Fresh Friday Reads: Current reads

Hello! Happy Friday and welcome to my first Fresh Friday Reads. I didn’t have time to read this week, or last, so I’m sharing my most recent series I’m following.

The Guild Hunter Series by Nalini Singh

This is a new to me series. Meaning I’m just starting it. I LOVE Nalini Psy-Changeling series, so I’m going to give her angels a try.

Vampire hunter Elena Deveraux knows she’s the best—but she doesn’t know if she’s good enough for this job. Hired by the dangerously beautiful Archangel Raphael, a being so lethal that no mortal wants his attention, only one thing is clear—failure is not an option…even if the task is impossible.

Because this time, it’s not a wayward vamp she has to track. It’s an archangel gone bad.

The job will put Elena in the midst of a killing spree like no other…and pull her to the razor’s edge of passion. Even if the hunt doesn’t destroy her, succumbing to Raphael’s seductive touch just may. For when archangels play, mortals break…

Mark of the Vampire Series by Laura Wright

I love Laura’s voice. And love her vampires. I read Enternal Captive back in February when it was released. It totally lived up to my expectations. I love Luca! :) Can’t wait for book 4 to come out in August!

Since feeding her his blood, Lucian Roman has struggled with his obsession with Bronwyn Kettler-fighting an uncontrollable desire to kill her, if he has to, and the vampire she has sworn to wed. But when a dangerous enemy threatens Bronwyn, only Lucian can save her life. Even if it means sacrificing his own…

Charlie Davidson series by Darynda Jones

Love this new series. And I love the humor Darynda brings to the pages as well as that sexy Reyes. This is the first book in the series and a great start. I’ll be starting on book three very soon.

Charley sees dead people. That’s right, she sees dead people. And it’s her job to convince them to “go into the light.” But when these very dead people have died under less than ideal circumstances (i.e. murder), sometimes they want Charley to bring the bad guys to justice. Complicating matters are the intensely hot dreams she’s been having about an entity who has been following her all her life…and it turns out he might not be dead after all. In fact, he might be something else entirely.
