Back in my school days, fellow students used to call me a crow or raven because I was always picking up pretty rocks, buttons, beads, jewelry, etc. Did you ever get called an animal by peers? Why?

I never did get specifically identified with an animal, but I do have a very particular love for corvids, especially crows - I even have a crow tattoo on my inner left forearm! I love ravens and magpies, too! I'm definitely also known among my friends for my abiding love for ill-tempered waterfowl, particularly geese, swans, pelicans (are they ill-tempered? They look it), and seagulls. Canada geese are my particular friends and they know it - I walk among them freely when they're about and they've never once attacked me, even when their babies (aka tiny, fuzzy, gawky dinosaurs) are about. They know a friend when they see one! They've all gone south for the winter and I miss them.
