It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? – 8 January 2024

#IMWAYR is a weekly meme started on J Kaye’s blog and then was hosted by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at The Book Date.
Hey Book Blogger Friends! Happy New Year! I took a blogging break for the holidays which allowed me to celebrate – and read and listen to a lot of books.
What I Read Recently:Hercule Poirot’s Christmas by Agatha Christie
The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches by Sangu Mandanna
Texas Gothic by Rosemary Clement-Moore
A
The Twelve Days of Murder by Andreina Cordani
The 30-Minute Pescatarian Cookbook by Dani Colombatto
Death on Cozumel Island by Cindy Quayle
Hercule Poirot’s Silent Night by Sophie Hannah
The Hotel by Louise Mumford
Currently Reading: She Started It by Sian Gilbert
I’m about 50% into this one, listening to it while I’m at the gym and I hate putting it down!
Death in the Dark Woods by Annelise Ryan
I just started this one and I’m excited. The first book, A Death in Door County was one of my favorite books of 2023.
The Wicked Unseen by Gigi Griffis
I’m about 22% into the ebook of this and I’m not overly enthused. As I knew going in there’s a heavy religious backdrop to the setting and it’s making me uncomfortable. I’m hoping I can get past it but I might skim to the end.
