Free social media content support to kickstart 2024

If you started the year full of enthusiasm and positivity for your social media, but are already starting to feel in need of some inspiration, this will help!

The following calendar gives you a mix of social media awareness days, important recognition days, serious anniversaries, fun and funny days, some religious holidays and various wonderful reasons to celebrate. 

Now, here’s the thing…

When you create your posts or blogs, try to relate the relevant days to your own business. Many are quite straightforwardly business-oriented, such as Employee Appreciation Day, International Co-working Day and National Fun at Work Day, so that should be easy enough.

Most of the special days can be adapted in creative ways to suit your own industry or workplace. The trick is to weave a story around the theme of the day that will be of interest to your audience and target customers, whilst clearly establishing a link to show why you’re supporting, promoting or simply mentioning the day. (Don’t forget to use that particular day’s trending hashtag.)

Some of the more random calendar events include: Talk like Willliam Shatner Day, World Laughter Day, Tequila Day, Skinny Dip Day and International Kissing Day.  (In fact, re-reading these choices – you could probably have a very fun day taking part in them all at once!)

Chuck in Talk like a Pirate Day (and yes, many, many people participate), cuddle your cat and a few of the chocolate / cake / cupcake/ pancake days and I’m in my element!

And here’s my promise to you…

If you genuinely can’t think of how to apply any of these listed days to your social media posts within the first two months of this year, I’ll help you out free of charge. We can zoom over a cup of coffee (or Irish coffee, if it’s January 25th) and I’ll give you ideas of how to apply five of the days to your business in a way that’s interesting, professional and exciting.
