Maurice Sendak

Maurice Sendak was an amazing story teller and illustrator who marched to the beat of his own drum.  The studio had the honor of working with Mr. Sendak on his first pop-up book "Mommy" years ago.  Holding and touching the original artwork was a breathtaking experience.

The book world and the rest of the world for that matter has lost an extraordinary man on May 8th, but we will remember him through his prolific art career and incredible stories.  Rest in piece, Maurice.
