My November 2023 Reads
November disappeared in a flash, but I did finish 15 books during the month. And I guess the last 10 on this month's list count for #YuletideSpirit over at the Seasons of Reading blog. I usually don't do that one, as I don't often read Christmas-themed books, but I have several on my TBR this year. The idea is to read Christmas books, but my understanding is that all books count for the readathon, which runs November 20th through the end of December this year.
I didn't finish any of October's leftover rolls from Becca's Spookoplathon, but I made another seven rolls for November and finished four of them. So that is a total of five rolls that moved on to December.
Nonfiction November had four prompts, and I finished books for three of them: Display, Web, and Fraud. That leaves just Capital. I also read an additional two non-prompt nonfiction books.
I made a pretty decent showing in Historathon 4.0, completing the primary challenge to read books for one prompt from each of the three hosts. I read a few beyond that but still have a few prompts left to roll over into my ongoing Historathon completionist challenge.
I joined the Australian Readathon for the first time this year. I did not finish the group read, but I covered most of the prompts with three books, and I had fun reading Australian authors.
