Since Sunday, Alex Jones has been allowed to publish content on X again. The right-wing US conspiracy theorist and his website InfoWars were banned in 2018. In the past, he had spread the word that the US government was involved in the attacks on September 11, 2001 in New York and that the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in 2012 was staged by actors. Jones owes the families of those affected $85 million in damages, which he cannot pay because he is broke.
