Christ The Unifier

Lately we’ve had a strange, almost obsessive focus on race and diversity in this country. It is a sin to judge one based on one’s race. At the same time, we promote equity, the practice of advancing everyone non-White to positions of power based only on their race. It is acceptable, nay preferable to discriminate against whites for the sake of non-Whites, often ignoring talent and ability along the way.

If this line of thought seems strange, it is because it is. In fact, it is Communist. Most people don’t connect Communism with racial strife, but Marxism encourages division because it must destroy. It must destroy old systems of government to install their collectivist utopia, and there is no more destructive force among people than division.

We’ve all heard about the “proletariat vs the bourgeoisie” or “rich vs poor” trope. This is the narrative by which Russian Communists took power; they stoked workers’ grievances and set them against the middle and upper class, but American Communists tried that and failed. The blue-collar workers here weren’t buying it.

Thus, American Communists moved to a different tactic: racial division. (This is discussed in the book, The Devil and Karl Marx by Paul Kengor. I highly recommend it!)

America has long had an amalgam of different peoples and tribes, especially after the 1965 Hart Celler Act. Couple this with Biden’s “Duh, what’s a border?” policy, and we have more than enough gasoline to fuel the American’ Communists’ racial division dumpster fire.

So, what we are witnessing is a spiritual battle, one diametrically opposed to the “neither Greek nor Jew nor slave nor free” mentality of the New Testament (Galatians 3:28-29).

With this reality in mind, let us turn then to the Unifier. If you doubt He’s a unifier, look at Christmas. Everyone loves Christmas, even those who don’t love Him. Some in this country may not want to square that with their subconscious, but the reality is that there is something about Him everyone can’t’ help but love…even if they don’t’ want to.

We should tell them! But please bring earplugs when you do. Communists tend to shriek like banshees when confronted with such truths…or Unity.
