Sunday Recap: A promising start to December

With three whole weeks until Christmas, there was plenty of time to play poker this weekend at ACR Poker.  That explains why players logged on in droves to take advantage of our signature tournaments.  If you were too busy getting a head start on your holiday shopping, then check out our December 3rd Sunday Recap to see what you might have missed.

$100,000 GTD Euro Special

European players and early risers didn’t waste any time on Sunday morning.  Our $100K GTD event featured 792 entrants and a final prize pool of $158,400.  That’s more than 58% larger than anticipated. In all, 97 players got paid.  The top three:

$250,000 GTD Warm Up

Our $250K Warm Up was slightly warmer than expected with 3,085 entries.  The final prize pool in this popular $109 buy-in tournament was a blazing $308,500.  Props to the 383 players who took home cash, especially the top three:

$150,000 GTD Sunday Special 

With 924 total entries, Sunday’s $150K unlimited re-entry tourney was even more special than everyone thought it was going to be. A total of 123 players got paid in this $215 buy-in event, which had a final prize pool of $254,000.  The top three:

$400,000 GTD Sunday High Roller

949 high rollers participated in Sunday’s $400K GTD tournament. By the end of late registration, the final prize pool swelled to $569,400 in this $630 buy-in event, which had 123 paid places. The top three:

$150,000 GTD PKO

Our $200K progressive knockout tourney had a total of 1,038 entries playing for $207,600, including $103,800 in bounties. This $215 buy-in tournament had 136 paid places, but even more players earned cash bounties.  Your top three:
