My Thanksgiving turkey is gone – nothing but bones left in the trash bin. (If you celebrated in Canada, even the bones are long gone!) That means Xmas  is coming for sure. I got my decorations out of storage and have run out of energy to putting them up, so I’m done.

The core of the holiday season is now upon us! Celebrations approaching, sure, but also northern winter solstice for me. Darkness as a counterpoint to the past summer’s light.
