Improbable Research

   I am an opsimath. I believe that it is important to keep on learning as you grow older, to keep your mind sharp, and stay abreast of what is coming in the field of interest that you always enjoyed learning about. Be it music, the arts, sciences, economics, history, and so on.    So discovering that the Ig Noble Prize has been given out for the last thirty-three years for, as the developers of the website state, "Improbable Research that makes people Laugh....then Think," interests me.
    Haven't you ever wondered why scientist study some of the things that they do? Well, those scientists are being recognized for those off the wall questions that you and I might ask, "Why are you looking into that?"   Now you have a place to go and find out the new crazy questions that are being asked.
