Review: PARTY SUMMER by R.L. Stine

A group of teenagers working andplaying at an exclusive hotel on a private island for a Party Summer. The firstpart had the teens arriving at this dark, creepy, and dingy hotel with thembeing the only ones there. Why was that butler guy insisting that they leave? There was some talk of ghosts, but mostly the narrative described the hotel andbeach.

Eventually, the kids stumble onsome strange things: the hidden door in the wall, the creepy brother that showsup, and a gun shot sound from inside a closed room with no body found. Strangeindeed. Perhaps the place was haunted. Even though this was slower than Iwanted it to be, this had a level of mystery that kept me entertained. By theend, it becomes a race for their lives. It all gets good!

A frightening read for sure!
