Very Jazzy
‘He had lines, yes, but now I realized they didn’t make him look old. They just made him seem more interesting than any of the guys I knew like he’d been places, seen stuff, done stuff.’ --Lucy Foley, THE PARIS APARTMENT Gloria and Jack sent us a thoughtful Happy Chanukah card: SPIN...PLAY...CELEBRATE!
My life would be “incomplete” without you.
Love Always and Forever,
Gloria & Jack
Gloria also remembered that Alan and I had met on November 20th, exactly 8 years ago. It was a very jazzy looking card. It made me want to listen to jazz. We weren’t quite sure what she meant about the human senses but it’s always nice to be reminded of these senses that our species is lucky enough to have.
Dear Alan & Michael!
Happy Anniversary!
There has been so much talk lately about ‘human senses’ and that we sell basing our gifts on SIGHT, SOUND, TOUCH, TASTE and SMELL.
Love Always,
Gloria and Jack
Alan and I saw a few more excellent movies on our Anniversary week:
THE MIDNIGHT IN THE GARDEN OF GOOD AND EVIL –based on a book I have not read yet that was a dramatic mystery thriller—another genre of film I love besides action crime. A visiting reporter’s assignment suddenly revolves around a murder trial of a local millionaire.
I loved those ARMIJO group pictures I took near the Hs Lordships Restaurant in Berkeley recently. I sent copies to mom. I really loved the one of mom with her six grandchildren. I hope to take more memorable family pictures at Christmastime when I return to Alameda next month.
