A Collect to Turn from Our Idols

Almighty God, who alone has power to save, heal, and sustain us, show us our idols - those false gods and promises that we serve, that we would know our wrong attachments and seek to let go of them and turn to you who alone can give us what we need, through Jesus Christ our Lord, who is alive and reigns with you through the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
